TRANSPARENCY

About the Exhibition: Transparency has long been a rich and dynamic concept in art, representing clarity, openness, and the revealing of hidden truths. From the delicate play of light in glass sculptures to the ethereal qualities of watercolor and layered collage, artists have utilized transparency to challenge perceptions and provoke deeper contemplation. Historically, transparency has been employed to create depth and dimension, allowing viewers to engage with both the clear and cloudy, the visible and the unseen.

In contemporary contexts, the idea of transparency holds profound significance. As we navigate complex issues in politics, communication, and personal relationships, the ability to “see through” to the underlying truths becomes increasingly vital. Art can serve as a medium for exploring these themes, prompting reflection on honesty, vulnerability, and the connections between people and their environments.
